First produced in the mid-1980s, the Master is a perennial favourite. It is the fruit of Colnago's extensive experience in steel tubing, welding, and lugged frame construction techniques. It’s entirely designed, made and chromium plated in Italy with DT15V steel. The Master offers supreme comfort thanks to the ride quality offered by the custom drawn steel tubing. The star-shaped tubes and chromed lugs combined with a 1" chrome plated steel Precisa fork make it a classic and truly elegant bicycle that offers a ride unlike anything else. Available in 16 sizes and three colour variations.
Precisa Fork
The Precisa fork was introduced in the late ‘80s, and it led the way for all of Colnago’s future fork production. At the time, its straight blades were revolutionary and improved the absorption of vibrations coming up from the ground as well as giving better overall control of the bike. The blades and steerer tube come in steel.
Star-Shaped Tubes
The thin tubes are made of steel and have a star shape. In addition to ensuring an incomparable aesthetic, the shape also provides better resistance to torsions. The tubes are made of DT15V alloy steel which gives an excellent elastic response and is ideal for long-distance riding.
